Four Explosive Devices Located in Northern Marion County

A Marion County Officer responded to property in northern Marion County on the day of June 27, 2024, to follow up on devices found in a barn adjacent to County Road 165.  The responding Officer identified the devices as possible explosive devices and requested additional assistance handling the devices.  Sheriff's Department personnel contacted the Arkansas State Police Bomb Techs and Bentonville Police Department Bomb Squad for assistance.  Three Bomb Technicians responded to the scene and conducted render safe procedures on the devices.  No further action was taken.
