Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports Deputies responded to a residence on MC Road 5040 after receiving a 911 call of a man being seriously injured. Investigators report that STEVEN LOY DAVENPORT (W/M, 68 YOA) of Yellville, was fatally injured after falling from the roof of a house in which he had been working. A caller stated an individual had fallen off a roof, was badly injured and needed help immediately. First Responders from Yellville and Ralph-Caney as well as a Baxter Health Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Davenport was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner. The initial call came in at 7:41A.

Investigators processed the scene, and the investigation is on-going.
