DEATH INVESTIGATION

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports Deputies responded to the Protem community on 08/17/24 at 9:50A, after receiving a call of an unresponsive person. Sheriff Alexander reports Deputies responded to a residence on Kalijah Road in Protem and located the body of DAVID B. RAINS, 69 YOA. An Investigator stated RAINS died from what appeared to be natural causes. Sheriff Alexander advised the Marion County Coroner pronounced RAINS dead at the scene and transported the body to the Coroner's Office.
