On 09/28/24, at approximately 9:09A, the Marion County Dispatch Center received a transfer 911 call from Baxter County regarding a death on Marion County (MC) road 121 in the rural Oakland area of Marion County.

Deputies and first responders arrived on scene and found JAMES JENSON, 78 YOA, deceased in the residence. A family member told Deputies and Investigators that JENSON was deceased when they woke up this morning. Investigators learned through interviews at the scene that JENSON suffered from extensive health issues and was under the care of home health professionals. The Marion County Coroner responded to the scene and pronounced JENSON deceased. 

Sheriff Alexander stated Investigators processed the scene, conducted interviews and believe JENSON died as the result of natural causes. 

JENSON was a long time Marion County Reserve Deputy who covered the Oakland area.
