Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that on 11/16/24 at approximately 11:16A, the Marion County Emergency 911 (E911) Center received a 911 call in reference to a deceased person at a residence located on State Highway (SH) 14 North in Yellville. Deputies and Investigators responded to the scene and located the body of an elderly male. According to information obtained from the caller, the victim was found deceased inside the residence when the caller went to check on him. Sheriff Alexander stated Investigators processed the scene and believe there is no foul play associated with the death, and that the victim died from natural causes. The victim was identified as BILLY WAYNE BARDWELL, 90 YOA, of Yellville. The Marion County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and took possession of the body.

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reported another death that was reported at approximately 12:18A, on 11/18/24. Deputies and Investigators responded to an address on South Oak Street in Summit after receiving a 911 call about a male being found inside the residence deceased. Sheriff Alexander advised Investigators processed the scene and believe there is no foul play associated with the death, and that the victim died as a result of natural causes. The Marion County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and took possession of the body. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of a Next-Of-Kin (NOK).
